The cement path wound down the hillside. Betsy walked along it gracefully until her boots met the shade of the giant oak. Underneath its branches stood her Ronnie, “Rizzo,” as everyone else knows him, with his back turned as he awaited his bride. A gust of wind blew back Betsy’s veil just then, and she smiled and giggled as she readjusted it. When he turned and saw her, he was overwhelmed with the beauty of his bride, and his hand went up to his eyes to wipe away the tears. And they stood under that oak tree and laughed and cried, and recited personal vows to one another that only they could hear.
Betsy & Rizzo shared one of the sweetest, most emotional moments that we have ever been able to capture during their First Look last Sunday, just a few hours before they officially became man and wife. It was such a beautiful moment–a few precious, private minutes shared between a groom and his bride, when the reality of that long awaited day had finally arrived. Their joy was palpable.
Betsy & Rizzo married at The Church at Rocky Peak and then partied with their friends & families in the gorgeous nearby backyard of close friends (a little shout out to Kellie Ann of Kellie Ann Events who coordinated the day flawlessly!) Betsy’s midwestern/Texan roots were infused throughout the day in cowboy boots & denim, line-dancing & two-stepping, and pork ribs & sweet tea (not to mention those delicious spicy cheddar sausages & banana pudding!) ;) To say the least, Betsy & Rizzo’s wedding was as wonderful and unique as their own relationship. B&R–thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wonderful day! So much love & so many blessings on your marriage… :) –A&N
