They had a mutual friend who insisted that they meet. But who really wants to go on a blind date without backup? So they made their first date a double. Needless to say, the double date was a success and it didn’t take long for Shasta & Mike to realize that they were meant to be.
We met up with Shasta & Mike last week at Rincon Point. I couldn’t get over how perfect Shasta looked in what I deemed her “modern vintage” attire.
At one point we asked Shasta & Mike to lay down on a staircase landing…and they happily obliged. I think the outcome was well worth the effort!
The lighting was absolutely AMAZING. We could shoot in this kind of light forever.
Shasta brought along some sweet, personal items for the shoot, including a handmade quilt that was given to her by her mother.
Shasta made her necklace using a strand of pearls that once belonged to her grandmother and the accessory she wore in her hair was once worn on her grandfather’s lapel. How cool is that? Her beautiful ring is also, of course, vintage-inspired. You know we looooove vintage!
We had a good laugh on the way down to the water. ;)
and the catch.
