On a bus headed to Mammoth, he saw her. She was with friends, as was he, but he couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful she was. When the bus arrived at its destination, he made it a point to help her with her luggage. But she was tired, and probably even more tired of dating the wrong kind of guy, so she made a conscious effort to avoid eye contact at all costs. And that was when fate stepped in, because later on the elevator Katie & Rick’s eyes met for the first time—and the connection sent chills along her spine. They made small talk and exchanged names and room numbers before giddily going their separate ways.
Fate would have it that Rick would bump into Katie the next morning at breakfast and this time he invited her to a jacuzzi party that evening. Katie quickly agreed, realizing shortly thereafter that she hadn’t brought along a swimsuit. Coincidentally, Rick had forgotten to pack his, so they both spent the day shopping for new suits. They hit it off at the jacuzzi party that night, and Katie & Rick continued to spend the rest of the weekend talking nonstop. They discovered that they both had been through a dating string of bad matches, but by the end of the weekend they thought that maybe–just maybe–they had found their perfect match in each other. And they had.
We spent Sunday afternoon with Katie & Rick in Los Olivos, aka wine country. Or as Katie puts it, her Disneyland. ;) Together we wined and dined and captured Katie & Rick in their element, with good drink and food and lots of laughs. Katie & Rick–thank you both so much for such a fantastic day! We loooved capturing your love–and we’re so so happy that you have found your perfect match. :) –A & N
